Rangiora Town Hall (School Holidays), Thursday 9 - Saturday 11 - 2pm Daily, 7.30pm Thursday and Friday

There once was a Goblin Prince who created a magical mirror that only showed the dark side of everything.  His betrothed was so embittered by this mirror that she smashed it into a million pieces and became the recluse known as the Snow Queen.  From then on, every time it snowed, it was the Snow Queen sprinkling tiny shards of the mirror out into the world so that everyone else would know how she feels.

Time goes by and we meet Gerda and Kay, a happy young couple who encounter the curse of the mirror when shards of it fall into Kay’s eye in a snowstorm.  We follow Gerda on her journey through all the seasons, to release Kay from the Snow Queen’s spell.  A show with lots of colour and music, to delight the whole family.

This is a show for all ages, plenty of colour and magic for the kids as well as some humour for the parents!
