Junior Production 2024

Sleeping Beauty

Rangiora Town Hall (First Saturday of Spring School Holidays)

The traditional story of the young princess Beauty, who has a curse placed on her by a disgruntled fairy, who was not invited to her birthday party.  The curse sees her and the entire kingdom, fall asleep when pricked by a needle. They can only to be awoken by the kiss of Beauty’s one true love.  Who could that be?  Through some cleaver social media campaigning, a team of good fairies advertise her predicament to three likely heroes, all intent on saving her from her dreamy spell; a Cowboy, a movie star and an astronaut!  Who will save the day and will our disgruntled fairy, Grimelzor, get his come-uppence?
